It allows us to grow with our feet on the ground, promoting feelings of stability and security. The Root Chakra is also associated with the Earth element and the color red.

When the Root Chakra is balanced, we feel secure, connected, supported, strong, trusting, and safe. If it's unbalanced, we may experience feelings of fear, insecurity, and disconnectedness.

Sacral Chakra

The Sacral Chakra, or Svadhisthana, is the second chakra. It's located in the lower abdomen and is associated with the emotional body, sensuality, and creativity. The Sacral Chakra is also associated with the Water element and the color orange.

When the Sacral Chakra is balanced, we feel abundance, well-being, pleasure, and joy. When it's unbalanced, we may experience feelings of overindulgence in fantasies, sexual obsessions, or lack of sexual desire or satisfaction.

Chakras and Meditation

Meditation is a powerful tool to balance and align your chakras. By focusing on the location and characteristics of each chakra during meditation, you can begin to sense the subtle energies and harmonize the energy flow in your body. This can lead to improved physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
